Why I built Zinsora

I've been actively managing my own finances since 2021 — ETF savings plan, dividend strategy, budgeting. In that time I've tried a lot of tools and read through a lot of guides. And I kept running into the same problem: most were either too complicated, too cluttered, or just didn't fit my situation.

Zinsora came out of that frustration. I wanted to build the tool I wished I'd had — simple, clean and free of jargon. No sign-up, no hidden costs, and accessible enough that someone with zero financial background can use it straight away.

My approach to investing

I don't follow a complicated strategy. I invest monthly into a broadly diversified ETF and hold a selection of dividend stocks with the goal of building passive income over the long term. I'm not a financial advisor and I'm not a professional. I'm someone who has made his own mistakes and learned from them.

And I've made mistakes. Bought into hype and paid for it. Held losing positions too long hoping they'd recover. Sold winning stocks too early because I thought "it can't go higher." Classic beginner errors — but useful ones.

What I want to build with Zinsora

Short term: a tool that genuinely helps. Calculators that are satisfying to use, guides that explain things without overcomplicating them.

Long term: a community where people at different experience levels can learn from each other. I've learned more from conversations with other investors than from any article — and having different perspectives around you helps you avoid mistakes you'd otherwise pay for the hard way.

Zinsora is not financial advice

Everything on Zinsora is for information and guidance only. It does not replace professional financial or tax advice. I share what I've personally learned — but every financial decision is yours to make.
